Pricing
2 credits a message.
That is the entire price list. Credits are the shared Ounie currency — one credit is one cent — and they come from the same wallet every other Ounie app draws on. No subscription, no minimum, no seats, and nothing to cancel.
With an Ounie account
2 credits
per message · $0.02 in plain money
- Reserved before the send, settled once the provider accepts it.
- A refused message refunds in full, pool-exact.
- Works over REST, MCP, the dashboard and the fleet master key.
Keyless, for agents
$0.024
per message · USDC on Base, via x402
- No account, no key, no signup. POST and you get a 402 with terms.
- Verified before the send and settled only after it goes — an on-chain settlement is final, so a failure is caught before the money moves.
- Send-only. A keyless caller has no account to hold an address against, so there is no inbox on this rail.
Free, forever
Anything that does not put a message on the wire costs nothing. That includes every way of being told no, which matters more here than it does on most APIs — an agent that has to pay to discover a limit will keep paying to rediscover it.
- Reading your own send log, and every entry in it
- Listing and filtering your sends
- Being refused — a suppressed recipient, a tripped ceiling, a malformed message
- A message the provider refuses (refunded in full, pool-exact)
- Minting and revoking API keys
- get_pricing and get_sending_policy over MCP, with no key at all
What the price carries
You are not paying for bandwidth.
What money cannot buy here
The ceilings are not a plan tier.
There is no volume tier, no enterprise unlock and no way to pay for a higher recipient limit. The limits exist to protect the sending reputation that every user of this app shares, so selling exemptions from them would be selling the thing itself.
- 5
- per recipient, per day
- from anyone at all
- 30
- per API key, per hour
- the sender's own throttle
- 200
- per account, per day
- across all your keys
